Operations Excellence Manager

The Operational Excellence Manager plays a critical role in driving operational innovation and efficiency across the group, leading teams focused on standardization, continuous improvement, and process analysis. This position requires close collaboration with operations teams, business process owners, and leadership to identify, design, and implement process improvements that enhance customer satisfaction and operational performance.
What will you do:
1. Operational Strategy & Standardization
- Define and implement group-wide standards for transportation and depot operations.
- Ensure consistent application of these standards across all Packeta regions.
- Establish best practices and foster a culture of operational excellence throughout the group.
2. Continuous Improvement
- Lead initiatives to identify process inefficiencies and areas for enhancement.
- Develop, test, and implement innovative solutions to optimize warehouse and transport processes.
- Train and mentor teams to adopt a continuous improvement mindset and customer-first approach.
3. Process Analysis & Project Coordination
- Analyze processes, identify risks, and propose actionable improvements.
- Manage and coordinate cross-functional operational projects, ensuring timely and successful implementation.
- Share insights and solutions across Packeta’s depots and transport operations.
What do we need from you:
- Innovation & Detail Orientation: Ability to think outside the box and always challenge the status quo.
- Process Design & Customer Focus: Experience in defining, describing, and improving processes, with an emphasis on quality and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced, multinational environment.
- Leadership & Collaboration: Capability to engage, lead, and inspire diverse teams to deliver results.
- Risk Management: Strong ability to assess and mitigate risks effectively.
- Best Practice Sharing: Proven skills in gathering insights, sharing best practices, and implementing improvements across the organization.
- Demonstrated expertise in project management, process standardization, and continuous improvement (preferably in logistics or operations).
- Solid understanding of parcel logistics, transportation, and warehousing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Fluency in Czech/Slovak and English needed.
- Proven experience in training, mentoring, and coaching.
- Background in customer service or customer care is an advantage.
