Around 19,000 employees at DT Technik plan, design, build and operate the facilities and systems of the technical infrastructure nationwide on behalf of Telekom Deutschland GmbH. The company implements network projects, operates the network technology and, if necessary, takes over the maintenance of the technical infrastructure.

The Tribe E2E Lab & Services is responsible for the design, development, integration and operation of  CI/CD tools in DT Technik. You can become part of the CI/CD team/squad and be responsible for the infrastructure mainly consisting of GitLab and JFrog Artifactory.

What you will do

As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of a CI/CD tools running on Kubernetes.

  • Maintain our CI/CD applications in the K8S cluster (in maintenance window)
  • Operate the K8S clusters and pro-actively treat the application alerts (Troubleshooting & informing customers)
  • Be in contact with customers via support desk and userchat
  • Update the public user guide
  • Write scripts & tools for DevOps enhancement

Required knowledge and skills

  • Experience with container and cloud technologies (and their lifecycle) (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Flux) and related tools
  • Scripting languages (Python, Bash/Shell)
  • Very good knowledge of Linux
  • Be GitOps oriented
  • Feel responsible for the service you are providing
  • Bring your agile mindset
  • English is must, German is strong advantage
  • International travel expectancy is 10%
