Environmental Engineer | Cyprus

We are currently seeking for an Environmental Engineer who will join our Cyprus team and will develop studies on the impact of our Solar parks on the surrounding enviroment.

What will you do?  

• Prepare, review, and update environmental impact assessment reports.
• Obtain, update, and maintain plans, permits, and standard operating procedures.
• Provide technical support for environmental remediation projects and for legal actions.
• Analyze scientific data and do quality-control checks.
• Keep folders with documents and database always updated. 
• Comply with the development deadlines.
• Inspect industrial and municipal facilities and programs in order to ensure compliance with environmental regulations in Cyprus.
• Attend in the defence meetings held by department of environment and present project and comply comments to get it permitted.
• Prepare and submit needed application forms and follow-up to collect permits.
• Coordinate work with our external service providers (Topography, design, permits, lawyer, ground studies).
• Coordinate work with our technical department, country manager and development manager.
• Keep folders with documents and database always updated.
• Monitor the progress of environmental improvement programs.

 How do we see you?  

• Engineering degree especially in “Civil/Environment” preferred.
• Prior experience with EIA study is a plus.
• Professional Greek & English proficiency: our colleagues - technicians in the Czech Republic do not speak Greek and, in addition, some of our clients from outside Cyprus request communicate in English.
• Being a certified member of ETEK.
• Ability to plan for and keep track of multiple projects and deadlines.
