The main role of Senior High Voltage expert  is to create value by utilizing new opportunities in area of HV connection ( evacuation of energy ) of  PV parks / BESS and/or other source of renewable energy (the Project) -  through partnership, acquisition and building own capacities, balance commercial aspects incl. risk mitigation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Research, analyze and draft market requirements for existing and new connection solutions by communicating with grid operator and customers, by reading other information sources and transferring these requirements into “connection” roadmap proposals.
• Identify key capability or process gaps in current organization to develop, propose, and underwrite “connection” deals.
• Follow codes and certifications as they develop; analyze their impact on the market and specific products; make recommendations to management on how to leverage these developments to the Projects benefit. 
• Ensures technical support to (contract) negotiations with distribution/transmission company (grid operator).
• Coordinates all activities necessary for feasible connection of the project to the grid.
• Choose and coordinates local Teams of high voltage engineers/experts in respective (European) country.
• Support projects management in preparation of The project in area of „connection to grid“:
• Technical evaluation of Projects in opportunity stage.
• Planning of project (connection part), cost budgeting, preparation of time schedules.
• Coordination of team s engineering/procurement/ construction within area of „connection".
• Outsourcing/insourcing activities in „connection area“ (together with procurement).
• Reporting.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Technical background: electrical engineering.
• Experiences from a variety of EPC projects - medium voltage and high voltage connection (connection line, substations,…).
• Experiences from Europe/Central Europe/CZ.
• CZ or SK + English  language mandatory.
• Ideally Czech authorization (or EU equivalent):

Certificate in accordance with Section 15 of the Czech Labor Safety Authority and Czech Mining Authority Regulation No. 50/1978 Coll., on professional competence, indicating that the individual is qualified for operational management as per Section 8 of the regulation on professional competence. This certificate demonstrates their ability to oversee facilities with voltages exceeding 1000V, or a valid certificate confirming compliance with Section 7 of Government Regulation No. 194/2022 Coll., regarding electrical equipment and professional competence in electrical engineering, indicating the person's capability to serve as a chief electrical engineer for electrical equipment, at least up to 110kV.
