Bookbot is the largest re-commerce bookstore in the Czech Republic, with 10M+ books sold. We ship ~25,000 books daily across 9 markets (CZ, SK, AT, DE, ES, IT, FR, NL, BE) and deliver to 40 countries. Our warehouse is the world’s 3rd-largest second-hand book facility.

Project Mission (6 months)

Launch and scale Bookbot Netherlands into a sustainable, data-driven operation with excellent customer experience, repeatable acquisition (creator/PR/community-driven), and a handover-ready playbook.

Target Outcomes (OKRs)

  • Growth: +30–50% MoM in listed books M1–M3; ≥15% MoM afterward. 25k NL sessions/month by M6.
  • CX: 90% tickets answered within 4h (9–17h)
  • Brand/PR: 50+ active nano/micro creators by M4; 5 long-term partnerships by M6; 5 tier-2 media mentions + 1 tier-1 feature; 200+ bookmark distribution partners.

Responsibilities (Freelancer)

  • Act as the NL customer’s voice; capture feedback and drive fixes with internal teams.
  • Keep NL web content accurate and current.
  • Provide professional customer support (9:00–17:00 CET)
  • Build/manage creators, media, schools, libraries, cafés (bookmark program).
  • Run PR, community, and creator initiatives; maintain experiment logs and outcome reports.
  • Lead weekly business reviews - bring data, insights, and clear proposals.

You Are

  • Native Dutch (French a plus) with strong English.
  • Amsterdam-based; comfortable working independently in a fully remote setup.
  • Organized and pragmatic; confident presenting results and defending recommendations.
  • Proactive learner who self-serves from the handbook before asking.

Collaboration & Tools

Work directly with the Head of Expansion (Lívia Čadová). You’ll use standard productivity and knowledge-sharing tools (e.g., Notion/Slack/Drive). All access provided.

Commercials

  • Type: Freelance / B2B (you invoice monthly).
  • Duration: 6 months, full-time capacity.
  • Fee: Fixed monthly retainer + success bonus linked to OKRs (agreed before start).
  • Budget: 5,000 - 5,400 EUR a month - refers to a 40-hour work week.
  • Equipment: You provide your own setup; we provide access to systems and assets.
