Product Manager – Insurance Wording & Product Development

We are looking for a strategic Product Manager with deep insurance expertise and strong process orientation. This senior role is critical to shaping our product portfolio, ensuring compliance, and optimizing operations across countries. If you are experienced in leading complex product initiatives and enjoy working at the intersection of underwriting, legal, and business operations, we’d love to meet you.

What will be your role?

  • Product Development Life Cycle: Overseeing the end-to-end product life cycle, including identification and design of new products, identification of value propositions, drafting of full set of T&Cs and other insurance documentation, oversee product implementation and testing, review of existing products and their performance, and tailor-made adjustments of products across the region.
  • Compliance: Keeping apprised of changes in legislation and regulatory events affecting our business. Ensuring both new and existing products satisfy all internal, legal and regulatory requirements and making necessary changes as needed.
  • Vendor Management: Managing relationships with third-party lawyers, legal advisors, consultants, and other service providers to bring compliant products quickly to the market.
  • Frameworks & Processes: Developing and implementing product management frameworks and processes to ensure high-quality deliverables that support our growth and enhance efficiency and compliance.
  • Relationship with Underwriters: Cooperating and negotiating with our underwriters, maintaining binding authorities and contracts.
  • Cooperation: Liaise with country managers and insurers on special requests and exceptions. Providing guidance and support to the claims department and others as required.
  • Product Launches: Managing and coordinating the product launches, ensuring that all department goals, objectives, KPIs, and deadlines are met and within budget.

You might be a perfect fit, if you have:

  • Solid experience in a similar role with a strong insurance and legal background.
  • Proven experience in creating and managing insurance product wording, including terms & conditions, annexes, and regulatory documents.
  • Excellent English communication skills (C1 level or higher) and the ability to work across teams and countries.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and align stakeholders across departments.
  • A strategic and analytical mindset, with business acumen and attention to detail.
  • A customer-centric and proactive approach, with the desire to continuously learn and improve.
