Business Development Specialist – Monoclonal Antibodies
We are a growing biotech company covering multiple business segments. Recently we have developed unique pipeline for development of recombinant monoclonal antibodies, which is based on our patented method of antibody characterization at a single cell level and supported by our expertise in hapten synthesis, immunogen preparation and high-throughput automation. We are now offering antibody development for customers for immunodiagnostics and other applications and also building our own portfolio of unique antibodies.
If you have a strong interest in both business and science, join us as a Business Development Specialist and help us to commercialize this technology, identify new customers and make deals with new partners.
What will be your responsibilities?
- Performing market research, analyzing competitive landscape and differentiation of our product offering to shape our proposition and business models.
- Identifying new commercial customers for custom antibody development for immune-diagnostics and other applications.
- Facilitating academic collaborations on relevant targets to support our antibody catalogue development.
- Preparing presentations and offers for customers and partners, leading both technical and commercial negotiations.
- Designing marketing materials to support the proposition.
- Presenting at relevant industry conferences.
- Collaborating closely with antibody R&D team and sales and marketing colleagues from other divisions.
What are the requirements?
- PhD degree in life-science (or equivalent experience) with previous experience with research or commercial use of antibodies or immunoassays.
- Previous business development, sales or product marketing experience is a plus.
- Ability to work in dynamic start-up environment and assume senior responsibilities while also preparing the materials hands-on.
- Ability for occasional travel to customers and conferences abroad.
- The ability to draft and revise legal contracts and to lead business negotiations is a plus.
- Solid project management skills and ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
- Good knowledge of MS Office and ability to work with CRM tools.
- Excellent English (Czech is an advantage but not required).
